The 52nd Annual Show which took place in the Jubilee Hall yesterday, 26th July, was a great success with a really good number of entries and great exhibits. Congratulations to Stephen Abbott and his team who organised the event and to all the prize winners. The judges in the various sections commented upon the high standards achieved.
Shows like this are becoming rarer. Such events are an essential part of our community life and in common with many aspects of our lives today are under threat as a result of "use it or lose it" situations. Fortunately the future of this club's shows seem secure.
We hope that we can maintain the quality and importance of this event for many years to come.
